I can’t think of a better time of the year to both start my Stanley Eisenman Fine Shoe blog and trek to New York for my shoe buying trip. After all, Fall 2012 is just around the corner.
Having operated my stores (now in my 40th year) I never tire of the excursions to New York. There is always great energy along with great fashion excitement for every market. And this market promises to be no different.
I have appointments with some of our regular fashion designers like Stuart Weitzman, Donald Pliner, Anyi Lu, and Paul Mayer, while adding new names to our heralded list of fashion-forward brands such as Dana Davis, Pas de Rouge, Marchez Vous, and AGL. Some of these are names you might not have heard of, so consider this your invitation to visit our stores and see for yourself.
The fall fashion forecast looks phenomenal once again! Lots of boots, a lot of metallic, flats are ever-present, pumps of all heel heights, and more emphasis on the color brown.
